Weekly Classes
Every Tuesday 7.30-9pm Knights Hall 23a Knights Hill, West Norwood, SE27. The venue is two minutes from West Norwood Train Station in the Price Direct Building opposite Wolfington Road. Entrance - go through the wrought iron gate next to the Portico Gallery, come down the pathway and door to Hall is on left handside - signs will show you the way
Every Thursday 6-7.30pm Cheviot Road, West Norwood, SE27. This is a small class with a maximum of 7 people so gives optimum tuition. For this class you need to reserve your place in advance
Every Thursday 7.45-9.15pm Cheviot Road, West Norwood, SE27. This is a small class with a maximum of 7 people so gives optimum tuition. For this class you need to reserve your place in advance

Yoga Workshops

Saturday 11th September 11-2pm Yoga Workshop. This workshop aims is to give you the time to really connect with Yoga; Extended 2½ hour yoga class with easy to follow step by step instructions, with pranayama(breathing exercises), meditation and Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and a chat on Yoga principles - Followed with a cup of tea and healthy yogic snack.

You will feel more relaxed and rejuvenated after this half day workshop, letting go of everyday worries. Yoga encourages the mind to focus on the present moment, giving you mental clarity. As you relax you also gain more energy to take into your everyday life. Through Yoga you tone and sculpt your body and build strength in your muscles as well as stamina and inner strength to face the challenges in life. - all this for just £30. How I teach..

I teach Flowing Hatha Yoga with easy to follow, step by step instructions, drawing from different styles of yoga including Sivananda Yoga, Vinyasa for flowing sequences and Yin for meditative practice, balancing the dynamic power and flow, with the softness and stillness of yoga.

I encourage and help you to have more awareness and connect with your body and mind and breath encouraging deep relaxation within. This connection gives you more energy and calms the nervous system helping you to reduce any stress. I emphasise precise alignment to help improve your posture and build strength in the muscles as well as inner strength so you cope with everyday life more easily. I hope to assist you to see your own unique potential through  a regular yoga practice and live life to the full.

The yoga I teach is suitable for all levels and backgrounds. I specialise in helping beginners to learn yoga. Each person receives individual attention, adjustments and encouragement to go beyond any self-imposed limitations. My teaching is motivational, intuitive, encouraging and inspiring, using a down-to-earth approach, drawing from my extensive 18 years experience working with the body and energy. Plus I make Yoga enjoyable to learn, so guaranteed you'll want to return.

A typical yoga class will usually include some breathing (pranayama) practice, warm up, sequences of Sun Salutation ( Surya Namaskar) to prepare the body for various postures (asanas) and a period of final relaxation (savasana) .

In India, yoga was traditional taught one to one, giving the student great insight and knowledge of yoga. One to one yoga is a very productive and rewarding way of making the most out of your life and your yoga practice on a regular basis.

In the comfort of your own home or mine, one-to-one classes provide you with a deeply rewarding experience, as you are guided through the postures to suit your own needs. A yoga programme is created specifically for you, on where you hold your tension, to reduce it or where you would like to strengthen, tone, sculpt or gain more flexibility, incorporating postures, breathing and relaxation so you feel great. Having private guidance helps you to bring your awareness and concentration inwards to you, creating a reflective practice and is by far the quickest way to really get the most out of your life. 1 hour or 1½ hours to suit you Prices from £55.

You can also share this session with a partner or a friend or up to four people.
